I would have gave it a three and a half Stars because of simple fact is the soup and the service the waitress was constantly on me when I first got in asking me what I want if I'm ready I just sat down I haven't even made my coffee and she kept on constantly every 3 seconds asked me am I ready I did not like that at all but otherwise I love the place the coffee was great I gotten the Brooklyn Burger the half pound one it was $8.99 the bowl of soup was horrible I gotten the chicken noodle soup and it should be renamed just noodle soup because that's all it came in that soup and for $2.99 it is not worth it whatsoever but I do encourage anybody to go there because they do have good food and burger was freaking phenomenal I enjoyed it so much and I love the coffee...

Let me start by saying I used to go to Gabe’s EVERY SINGLE DAY. I even had my entire family purchasing and had their friends and family purchasing. What an absolute disappointment they are now. The quality, quantity, and service has gone drastically down. Today was my absolute last day stepping foot in this establishment. It’s the 3rd time the tall heavy set waitress has been extremely dismissive and rude when taking care of my family and I . I should have never went back after the first time but I didn’t think the whole business should suffer from one bad apple. But for the service to be TERRIBLE and the quality of food as well…. I won’t be back! The quality of the food is seriously terrible and it shows that changes were made. Not sure if the changes were with staffing or the food vendor but absolutely awful. Teach the big heavy set waitress to treat people with respect please. As a place with many returning customers, service is supposed to be a top priority. Her smug personality really brings the vibe of the restaurant down. There is one person that has always been consistently polite and that’s the thinner taller lady who is typically at the front ringing out and answering the phones. However she can’t carry the weight of the restaurant on her shoulders. Would not recommend.

Absolutely amazing experience!!! Food was delicious, quick and very kind service!! My husband had a hard time finding a local diner that actually served Belgian waffles! His chocolate chip waffle was very well loved. Will be back soon!

Absolutely Amazing food ,& staff. The philly cheesesteak is to die for. My daughter loves their chicken tenders so much Gabes is the standard she compares all other places to. The breakfast is great too. I have not had it in awhile but their eggs benedict was always my go too..not many places nowadays still have the classic style on the menu(id want anythi g fancy just the clasdic) i look forward to trying their other items because i don't think you can go wrong. Plus the staff are just so friendly.
