We had a birthday party there for our 4 year old. We called and made reservations 10 days ahead of time. However when we got there, there was already a party at the table we had reserved. I talked to management and It turned out they botched our reservations. They were nice though and tried to help make the best of the situation. They moved tables around for us and helped with our decorations. The manager was kind and apologized. Luckily the party before us was nearing the end and we eventually got the table we originally asked for. Our 4 year old had fun as well as her friends. Now on to the food. We tried 3 of the 4 food stalls. Tried ordering a hummus plate, but they were low on hummus so we tried their chicken nuggets and French fries, but they were over cooked and tasted strange. Possibly from old oil. We then tried their beef nachos and boneless wings. The wings were delicious, however the nachos felt like a rip off… and it was on sale. We then got the galbi, which was delicious but felt overpriced with the portion size we got. Some improvements can be made here and there to make the place a little better, but overall, i’d say it’s a fun place for family and friends. Seems like a good hangout spot to meet up with friends after work. A lesson we learned though is if you make reservations there, make sure to get the name of the person you’re speaking with.

It has gotten better than it used to be. It is under new owners from the original ones. They put in some booths, which is nice and breaks up the cafeteria feeling. I have only tried Ya Ya Niki's, which is one out of four food "trucks". It was as good as their other location. I didn't see any kid's food though. Maybe at one of the other places. Ya Ya Niki's was a little pricey, but must things are now days.

This place has a great atmosphere for afternoon drinks or an evening out. I grabbed the Greek donuts and the "Dirty fries" off Yia Yia Nikkis secret menu and they were both 10/10. Would absolutely recommend this place to everyone in town.

Questions & Answers

Does the Lumberyard take reservations

Van Holloman | Aug 26, 2019

As I am aware of no. I have walked in with out one. The only thing you would have to do is order at these order stations to put orders in. Other than that I believe you can make reservations for parties. That would be the only other time.
