Edit: Have been here for a little more than 1.5 years now and there have been a lot of changes and friction associated with the apartments. The leasing office closed and everything is now “virtual”. Every single time I order a package to my address, I have to look if the package is by the mailing room, inside the mail box, inside the locker room, in front of my door, or in front of the apartment door. Not only is this highly confusing for people who deliver our packages, I have lost count of the number of packages I have lost and the hassle that comes with ordering a refund. The package delivery would ask in the leasing office before but now since it’s virtual, to each their own. Complaining to the leasing office is pretty much useless and the couple of times I have done so I haven’t really received any conclusions. The package room is all the way across the building. If you get something big delivered, we used to be able to borrow a dolly at least from the leasing office to move it. But since it’s virtual, I was asked to buy a dolly 🤷🏻♀️ There is no app that lets you communicate with other residents in the apartment, so there’s no sense of community, nor is there a way to ask how others feel about the recent changes. The blinds are not opaque which means people outside can look inside even if you close the blinds. Extremely problematic for folks on the first floor especially. This is the most bizarre part about the apartment. Have had to buy curtains and set it up myself since the blinds don’t do much. I still like the apartment that I live in, and the amenities in Mylo are pretty good. Previous review: Been living here for the last 5 months now, and its been great. The apartment is spacious, modern and receives lots of natural sunlight. The maintenance and the leasing office is super responsive and efficient. Shoutout to Grace, who helped me make moving in a very seamless process and always responds promptly. The only con perhaps is the lack of access to guest parking post 6PM for folks without a reserved spot. Other than, loving it so far!

I have lived in Mylo for almost a year now. I can say that I truly regret my decision to stay at a cheaply constructed place despite paying top dollar for rent. For starters, I was drawn to the place due to the location and good quality amenities which is usually what forms first impressions for new tenants. However, once I moved in, I realized that the place is actually below par in terms of quality. For one, the floors are so thinly made of the cheapest material possible (they probably saved money here to make a fancy rooftop and lure new unsuspecting tenants). The consequence of this is I literally have to tip toe around my house in order to not disturb the apartment below . And on the flip side, I hear thumping sounds that echo like drums falling from the upstairs apartment at all hours of day. Additionally, the primary common area is locked (on the pretext of covid) and the appliances used in the apartment are also cheap quality (I’ve had my fridge replaced 5 times since it stopped working each time). I warn new tenants from considering this place.

We've been living in Mylo Santa Clara since Sept 2020 and we love it here! The apartments are very new - modern stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, great community amenities and maintenance, and the leasing office folks have always been helpful and understanding. It's very accessible to Apple Park, supermarkets and restaurants. There's always plenty of parking for guests as well, and it's a very safe community.

No!! Don’t Sign the Leasing Contract with them! I would never choose Mylo if I knew the property management provides such unprofessional service. The leasing office never responds to my inquiry. Back to 4 months ago, I wrote an email to ask why the early termination fee is 2 months rent, when I was about to sign the contract. Interestingly, I got no replies. I dropped by the leasing office for the same question, and the stuff told me she would get back to me but never did. It seems to me that they only care about money and profit. From my past experience, apartment leasing contracts usually has early termination fee of one month rent. But Mylo doesn’t follow “industry standard”. In addition, they charge be. various types of fees, for example, visitor parking fee, package fee (I don’t really know what this is for), etc. I’m sure you can find out more ways they can charge you when you dive into the leasing contract. They failed to coordinate tenant complaints. My neighbor complained me about the noise problem but actually I didn’t make any noise. However the stuff recklessly wrote an email to me and request me to be “more aware” of those noise, I told them I didn’t laugh or shout. But they ignored my message. A day later, security suddenly showed up at my door for the complaint about the noise. I asked the security if he heard anything, and he said no. I am feeling angry for the blame I was never responsible for and the incompetence to resolve tenant complaint.
