It's actually not a bad park, it has plenty water features for young children and some climbing and playground equipment for older kids...

We were looking for the shaved ice guy. Had our 8th grade field day at the park. Walked from Mcloughlin school with 50 + kids today. Played football, volleyball, basketball, soccer, frisbee did art projects and played at the playground. Had lunch some kids even door dashed. Parents dropped food off. Even the ice cream man showed up.

Nice place, it's more of a common place for socializing than a play-park for children. There's free food for the hungry on weekdays from 11-1. Dog park. Plenty of land to throw a baseball or football with a friend. lacrosse court (mainly used for soccer), basketball court. Benches, there's a parking lot. Bear creek runs through the park.

No. You can fish for drugs in the parking lot tho. Plenty of drugs there.
No it's sad there used to be concerts etc long gone now.
There is concrete walk path around the park, into the play area and water park, and around the dog park also; I have seen quite a few people with strollers and walking dogs, and with small kids in bikes in the last time I was there
They are local homeless who were evacuated from the Center Point trail during the fires. They are harmless. If you dont like drugs "Just Say No!" I think it's safe to say these people have enough problems they don't need us bugging them unnecessarily. If their drug use isn't being forced on you or otherwise endangering you then you should just leave them alone.🙏
