Looked up locqtion as we are from out of town. Needed just a quick trim. Location was suppose to open qt 9am. . One employee came in qt 830 then left. Then two employees showed up qt 5 til 9am. Qt 9am we walked towards the door going I. And they had locked the door. Well we won't be back. Worst customer service. Use great clips all the time I our travels. Never again. If this is the type of customer service they display.

Service was quick. Staff is friendly and they cut my 4 year olds hair to perfection. Highly recommend!

So Wednesday December 1 my mother died. I went to this Great clips to get my sons hair cut for her funeral on Thursday the 9th. Nichole or Nicki, whatever, was unbelievably unprofessional when my son started to cry because he was scared of the clippers. He’s been difficult in the past with haircuts but has made it through with some gentle reassurance and a little creativity with me and the stylist. I understand if a child is thrashing and a danger to himself or the stylist because they work with sharp objects but this wasn’t the case here. She flat out threw up her hands and said absolutely not, I’m not cutting his hair when he started to cry and threw his hot wheel. He was yelling no cape because he didn’t want his hands where he couldn’t use them. Long story short we waited 20 minutes and left with a crying 2yr old and no haircut. Went right next door and had another stylist cut his hair with no problem because she took the time to calm him down and not give up when her job presented a challenging client. Then she comped our service because she felt bad about the situation and said I was probably under enough stress planning a funeral and shouldn’t have to deal with her unprofessional behavior and it actually wasn’t the first time they had taken a client complaining about great clips. All I can say is Sports Clips saved the day and “Mediocre clips” needs to step up their game and redefine their employees job expectations and responsibilities.

I wanted a light trim. Like a inch she took off 2-4 inches all over way shorter choppy and I had to ask her to stop cutting so much hair off she told me to trust the process 😭. And to make it worse I never do anything for myself I haven’t trimmed my hair in 2 years and I finally do something for myself and this is what I get

No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
