This is a big place and is so beyond what is thought of when you are considering dog rescue. They have never turned away any dog or dogs that I have brought them and always give the best care to insure their survival and ultimately a new home.

I adopted my beautiful fur baby, Nora from ARF House. The gals who work/volunteer here really care about they animals at the shelter. They make sure to ask a lot of questions to ensure their dogs go home with the correct family. I adopted a very emotionally distressed pup from them, she took quite a bit of time to trust me but now she’s a completely different dog! Going to adopt another from this sanctuary in the coming weeks! Jenna is a dream to work with and so kind! Definitely recommend this shelter!

They throw away the puppies that have died of parvo in the dumpster, some dogs don't get clean water, the owner of the organization is rude, if they don't like a dog they put them into a small pin because "they dont deserve a big one", one-time they forgot a dog was in a crate left her in there all day without water or food, when dogs get into a fight they hit them with sticks, if a dog is sick and they don't want to take them to adoption they will ignore the sickness. If you love dogs do not bring your dog in here!
