Awesome food and drinks. Combo fajitas and enchiladas for lunch.. Simply wonderful! Great service and worth the drive. We are from Denison and come here often for the experience.

Went for Saturday lunch with my Hispanic mother in law and was slightly less than impressed with the Pollo Belen. It was dry. The veggies were okay and the table was a little messy when we sat down. Here’s the good stuff: the roasted tomato salsa was AMAZING and the staff was very nice and attentive. The atmosphere and ambiance was pleasant. The prices were very reasonable.

We were treated very badly. The fajitas served for us was not sizzling wherein we noted the same was served to other guests was very fresh with smoke coming with sizzling sound. Ours were not even hot enough. Seems it was made and kept it aside for an hour. Didnt notice the server name, she was very bad.

I’ve loved Ernesto’s for years. The food has been delicious and the chips and salsa has been amazing. Recently though, the service has wained a great deal. Trying to call for to go orders takes forever to get through and when you do, you’ll get placed on a long hold. Even then, our order has been incorrect many times. I know the last couple years has been tough on the service industry, I just hope they make their way back to the awesome Ernesto’s we know.
