I love living at the Park at Monterey Oaks. It is a wonderful community with great people and it is very dog friendly. I have lived in a lot of apartments in Austin, and this community has by far been my favorite. Sallie is the absolute best community manager. She goes above and beyond to make sure all of her residents are happy. Sallie is very personable, approachable, and brings the community together. I am happy to call it home.

This is the first review I have ever written but really wanted to let you know my experience here. I am a current resident and have been here a few years. I absolutely love my apartment!!! The floorplan is a perfect fit for me. I lived here many years back but had to move after a few years. When I came back, this was the place I came to for my new home. The location is perfect for getting around while not being in the busy downtown area or on a busy street. The staff is always inviting and engaging. Maintenance is always exceptional and never leaves me disappointed. I use the amenities frequently (running track, trails, gym, etc.). Even when things happen outside their control (Feb freeze) they stepped up and helped connect neighbors and kept us up to date on what was happening as soon as they knew. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

I am going on my second year here at the Park and me and my boyfriend love it! The maintenance team is awesome and the front office is always really helpful! Sallie is great and really cares about the property and her residents.

One of the most important things about living in any apartment complex is the management and maintenance staff, and The Park at Monterey Oaks excels in both. Sallie is professional but caring and is always looking out for the best interest of the tenants. A typical example of this is when one of our neighbor's water pipe burst at 4:30 in the morning and Sallie was onsite shortly thereafter as soon as she was notified, and stayed, coordinating all of the services required to take care of it. The office staff working with Sallie are enthusiastic and work hard to organize and coordinate activities for the tenants. Carlos and his maintenance staff are usually able to handle any problems the same day which is unusual, and they are always very pleasant and cheerful. I would definitely recommend living at The Park at Monterey Oaks!

How much for a 2/1

It varies quite a bit. There's a good deal of variety in each unit's combination of attributes like floor, yard, garage, upgrades, location, etc.

what is the rent for a 1 bedroom apartment>

It differs. There are different floorplans for each apartment size (1 br, 2 br, 3 br). The price depends on that, square footage, which floor the apartment is on (first floor is all no carpet as far as I know so more pricey, and second and third floors all carpeted to my knowledge), also the status of upgrade or no upgrade (appliances stainless steel yes or no; counters marble or marble colored plastic etc..), and also varies depending on the month and availability (seasons in which ppl dont like to move are generally cheaper or floorplans which are not popular or units that have been empty for a while). Other than that rent is average for comparable complexes in Austin. I hope this helped:)
