Great beginner cave, for clarification caving is inherently dangerous and it is easy to get lost or hurt when you don't know what you're doing, which is why this cave is only accessible to grottos or others directly associated with the TCMA (Texas cave management association), if caves are of interest to you I'd recommend looking into local caving grottos and getting involved with them, as this helps spread awareness about cave management and helps preserve and find new cave ecosystems, as well as ensures that you have a guide well acquainted with the cave, that can also teach you safe caving practices

Great cave experience for those who can crawl. Tour guide was fantastic!

Went with my wife and it's a nice walk, but we weren't able to find the cave. There's a risk of accidentally walking onto private property but we found most people had fenced off or posted a sign to let you know before a possibly uncomfortable encounter. There seemed to be pretty extensive biking trails so if you're looking to do some trail riding I bet this would be a good place to checkout. Depending on what you're looking for this might be fine for you, but it's not a simple walking path nor a neat landmark.

Mountain bike trail is great but I'm not sure how you actually get access to the cave

Only with a guide; the cave is locked for safety reasons. Check https://www.tcmacaves.org/preserves/whirlpool/ for more information.
