We were planning to eat Persian for a while. There couldn't have been a better place than Samad Cafe. When we walked in, there was on older gentleman who was running the place. It was a one man show. He was cooking and serving. We ordered some chicken kabab and Lamb Shank. While we were eating, he checked on us and brought some freshly baked soft bread and also some Lamb Shank. The food was authentic. Kebab was juicy and full of taste. We offered him a tip and he refused to take the money. He wouldn't take the money. After we forced for quite a bit, he would eventually take the tip. After we were done eating, he brought in some candy for us and cold bottles of water. A beautiful soul, a master at work. Must visit for anyone in Dallas.

My taste buds were so excited to have stumbled across this hidden gem of a restaurant! Hands down one of the best beef kabobs I've had in the Dallas area. The owner /chef is so welcoming and kind!! Definitely a must if you're in the area and like Persian food.

This is the kind of place I love finding. The owner has been making this food since I've been born and it's so hole in the wall it's crazy. I ordered the lamb shank which was delicious. I'll be back.
