One of the most beautiful state parks in Maine by far Campground is a bit more private compared to others, clean bathrooms and decent showers. Also, the tent site we were on had a trail straight to the bathhouse. Great place and great staff!

Family-friendly campground with clean bathrooms & nice sites. We stayed a weekend, but would have happily stayed a week! Photos are from the short, but lovely loop trail that starts beside the campground's nature center.

Arrival Date You must arrive and be registered between 1 p.m. - 9 p.m., and be set-up on your campsite before 10 p.m. when quite hours begin; generators, where allowed, may only be used 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Late arrivals will not be allowed entrance; a refund will not be issued.

Yes there are campsites on the water
Yes however, pet owners may be assigned picnic or campsites in a less congested area of the park. Pets must be on a leash under the physcal control of the pet handler and must not be left unattended. Pick up after your pet immediately and dispose of the pet waste properly.
