We enjoyed our hike here today! I came with my nephew and the (#blackpeoplehikedfw group, you can find them on Facebook) I loved it and will return with my kid's. The reserve is huge and is next to a big park, it has plenty of rest areas and restrooms. You can go off in the trees 🌳 on a trail or walk the paved bath. I saw people taking maternity photo shoots and we enjoyed making a engagement video for a happy couple! There were lots of people with their kids, scooters and leashed dog's 🐕 . Large parking lot but it was packed today plenty of handicap parking up front.

This place is suitable for Trail and the family together or for children's play area. There is small creek. If you want to have different experience take a open train or the tree roof covered pathway instead of regular trail. During summer it's very hot place come prepared to keep us hydrated. Snakes are also present so be careful on the creek side.

Amazing trails and a peaceful location, enjoyed walking around the natural trails and this place is amazing for hiking, biking and kids have a nice play ground and you feel safe as many people walk around!! Plenty of free parking. Overall a great place to kick start a weekend!!

I've lived nearby for 5 years and had never gone before last week, and I was really missing out! It's so pretty! There are lots of unpaved trails through the wooded area and fields, but also a large paved loop you can walk along as well.

There is no one trail but you can do a paved and unpaved trail - both are around 3 miles. There is an off-road bike trail of similar length. Of course, you can reduce or increase their lengths by taking sub-trails or cutting across.
Yeah but I would suggest Lewisville lake.
Yes early summer is a great time to see them
Good question. I don't believe there are dedicated RV spaces, but there is normally more than enough parking where you might be able to park across spots. Some areas of the lot rarely have cars in it.
Not sure. I don't think anyone sells anything out here. If it's kids I'm sure people wouldn't mind. I would check with the city just to be sure.
I have seen photoshoots before up there. Its a public area so I'd assume that you can. As for the smoke bombs, you will likely need permission. 8 believe the preserve is protected by park rangers.
