Opens at 8:30 on Wednesdays. Yet they will allow 8am appointments to be set online when scheduling. You'll even get texts telling you to be there at 8am. As far as I see it they owe me for lost time! It's a Tax office so I guess I shouldn't expect much more, they probably don't have the funds to fix it.

Very courteous staff. Also, very helpful. I moved from Indiana to Florida and the representative was extremely helpful. The wait time is a little long but worth it.

I went in to apply for a permanent handicap placard ... checked in at 1PM, was seen by John at Station 5 by 10 after. He advised me that I was too early to renew and gave me detailed instructions. He was extremely helpful and I was back in my car by 2:20. Thank you, John!!

Hi, Terry! Thank you for reaching out to us. We use an electronic system for our appointments and unfortunately, errors do occur from time to time. We appreciate you pointing this out to us. As we open at 8:30 on Wednesdays, we do not open any 8 a.m. appointments in the system for Wednesdays. We are happy to see that you were served this morning, at 8:30 a.m., and we hope that you had a pleasant experience. Again - thank you for bringing this to our attention. Have a nice day!
Would be very helpful if you don't want to spend twice as much time
Hello! We appreciate your feedback on our appointment-only system. At this time, we will be continuing with appointments. This is no longer based on COVID-19 restrictions, but on feedback from our customers. According to a recent survey – 80% of our customers prefer this system and our customer satisfaction rates are continuously at 97% or higher. This model allows us to better allocate staff, keep wait times down, and serve our customers as efficiently as possible. A lot of the time, same-day or next-day appointments are available at one or more of our offices – for those customers that need service immediately. This doesn't mean that the appointment system will be in place forever, but for the moment, we are not planning to discontinue it. We will continue to monitor the data and make operational decisions based on that information. We work every day to make things run as smoothly as possible and we appreciate feedback from customers like yourself. Thank you for reaching out to us.

Again, this non-ad valorem assessment is not set by our office: http://www.pinellascounty.org/environment/watershed/stormwater-fee.htm
