Highly recommend this cute and quaint inn. The inn is on the smaller side and never felt busy or crowded. Summer travel can be super busy and this inn never felt that way. It was clean upon arrival and we had the opportunity for housekeeping services each day! It feels like no hotels offer this anymore! I was thrilled to return to a beautifully cleaned room each day with my bed made. My kids loved the pool, playground, s'mores, and outdoor movie. I enjoyed a hike right out the back door. The free breakfast each morning was so nice. I loved the location as well. Only a five-minute drive downtown. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I was traveling for a vacation with my family of six. We had a king suite. The only change I would suggest is the suites should have two queens instead of one sleeper sofa to accommodate six people. They are definitely big enough. However, I definitely recommend this charming place.

Perfect for families! Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and had lots of knowledge about what to do and how to get around. The free bus stops here about every 15 minutes and goes into town. The playground is brand new and beautiful, with a little play house that has a doorbell and a mailbox. There is a pool that ranges from 3.5-5.5 feet—great for new swimmers. When we arrived, there was a little box with blueberry popcorn and a ceramic mug with a lid, and each kid got a little owl stuffy. The rooms were clean and decorated nicely. There are s’mores nights and movie nights outside. There is also a path right out back that connects to the carriage trails. We loved everything about it!

Great location, 4 min away from Bar Harbor and 10-15 min away from the parking spots for most hikes. There is plenty of parking available and free breakfast (not the best). They also have a very small pool. Rooms were not the best, a bit outdated but clean. Most of the staff was very impolite, especially management which was very unfortunate considering how much money I paid to stay there. Kindness and politeness should come above all else especially in the hospitality business. I hope they get new management soon.

Pros: Staff was friendly, hotel was clean, AC worked, there was hot water, location was great. Cons: why advertise that you have a hot tub when it clearly hasn’t worked in a year? It didn’t even have water in it and based on another review from 11 months ago they have been giving the same answer since then: someone was here working on it yesterday not sure if it’s working yet today. The side door to the hotel was never latched or locked meaning anyone could get in the hotel at any time. Breakfast hours weren’t convenient. The door to our room didn’t seem secure at all.
