If I had the option for no stars that would be my choice. To begin Cari and Amy in the office are the sweetest but it’s not enough! I moved 16hrs from Florida to Texas the unit I applied for was NOTHING of what’s online. Neighborhood is not clean doesn’t look safe I would NOT recommend. The apartment had bugs broken appliances chewed up base boards from previous tenants. It was a NIGHTMARE!!! When I attempted to report my issues the office was closed before the actual closing time and had to wait a full weekend in a hotel room with no accommodations for the inconvenience. I have requested to speak with the property manager and was unable to do so being that she never returned calls or email. Manager Ashley is EXTREMELY rude and doesn’t care about anyone situation all she knew is she was back from vacation and couldn’t give a resolution until she felt it was a need to. Literally been in a hotel because the conditions of the apartment was not livable in my eyes and still no one has reached out and said absolutely anything. I was able to get my prorated rent back that was paid at move in time but was not accommodated for anything else even though I requested a virtual tour more than 4 times and was assured the unit was fully renovated. It’s very much so GHETTO do not move here. They only have one maintenance guy who does the renovation and he should be FIRED! Please if you are looking for a nice home and want to feel safe look else where this place isn’t it!

DO NOT MOVE HERE!! Cockroaches taking over the apartment literally!!! We give this apartment 0 stars. my sister in law living here for 3 months and they do not have good communication with her, it is difficult to communicate with the staff by phone, they never return calls and rent going up without notices. We reported the roaches situation and many other things and they don’t do anything.

DO NOT RENT HERE. I applied for a 1 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment with no prior evictions, nothing on my credit, & no criminal history whatsoever. I was denied but was refused a denial reason. I was told by the manager, Ashley, that the screening company who do the credit & background checks are the ones who approve & deny the applications. I’ve worked in a leasing office before & knew this was a lie however I called the screening company myself and asked questions. They told me that they DO NOT make the final decisions regarding the approval or denial for residency but that the complex makes the decisions due to them having access to check stubs & other pieces of information. I spoke with Ashley again regarding what the screening company told me & she stated she would speak to her “supervisor”. I was still refused a denial reason. You have to pay $400 just to even apply for an apartment.. which includes a $250 apartment deposit, $100 admin fee, and a $50 application fee. The $250 is refundable if denied. I had to literally threaten legal action just to get a refund of my $250. Do not rent here.. they will take your money & not give you a reason for denial & lie about it! Take your money elsewhere! Update: They replied and I emailed them but never got an answer back! There is no investigation being done regarding my situation! They are liars who only responded to make themselves not look bad under the review! DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.

I am moving to the DFW area due to work and coming from out of state is a challenge, especially when trying to find the place that you want to call home. Cesar was who I spoke too, have been emailing back and forth with and who has been guiding me through this process. It will be my first apartment and I can't wait to move in. I am looking forward to seeing the community for the first time in the coming weeks. Thank you Maxwell Apartment Community for going above and beyond customer service; even when you are busy.
