La Jolla Terrace Apartments

I lived here in 2017, at that time these apartments were called La Jolla Terrace. This was my first apartment home. I had 3 attempted break-ins happen within the first 3 months of my lease. They rented to ANYBODY, the turnover in the leasing office was very high. After reading the most recent reviews I am not sure if that has changed. When you pull into the apartment homes, the ones on your left are new, because they burnt down due to an electrical problema decade ago (you could probably research this on google)Google. I lived in the buildings on the right. There were a lot of electrical and mold issues. The AC did not work. I filed complaints with code compliance, wrote a letter to corporate, no response. I ended up waiting out the lease. I have seen Tides at *** apartment homes popping up in Grand Prairie and Fort Worth. Perhaps an investor is buying out problem complexes within the metroplex. What is true is that the internet at this complex is dial up. When I lived there they had a contract with AT&T. Sewage water flooded the streets when it would rain. Towing cars was a HUGE issue and is at the Grand Prairie location where my mom lives. You would be better off at any other apartment complex in the area then this one. It was not well managed, and probably still is not. A possible evicted tenant still had keys to my apartment and attempted to enter the first week of my lease. The gym was open, but the kids tore up most of the outdated equipment. The pool was never open to use. People would steal packages and mail. I would consistently hear gunshots and a lot of people outside at night. My neighbor had 6 assault rifles lined up in his living room, and ran out onto his patio screaming naked before being subdued by cops. Some kids would ride around at night shooting AK's in the parking lot. People fought over parking spots. A lady in the building across from me literally stabbed a woman in the chest in broad daylight over a parking spot. All of this was at Tides at Eastchase, formerly La Jolla Terrace back in 2017. I would still say save your peace of mind and don't move here. I know times are hard, but you would be better off at any other complex without Tides in front of the name.

This is the only one I thought about taking a pic of , smh this was #4 They literally been taking my money for months come to find out the lease I have , is in my name but they put notes on my door about the previous tenant I have been here since November Ac is still out they have a lot of voicemails I can’t leave one anymore it’s full DO NOT MOVE HERE

This complex is barely hanging on. Always something going on police and ambulance stay in them. Management changed again from what I can tell. Used to have security in them at the front entrance. My family member lives here and they can't wait to move once the lease is up. I can't blame them. They're remodeling if that helps .

Most disgusting group of people to ever run a complex. Just nasty. Im currently in my house with a hole in my roof and no heat for days. These are nasty folk. The roaches take over your home on top of nasty neighbors. The office does not care about you or your kids’ health. DO NOT MOVE HERE! They do not care about the mold or bugs and cold. They need to find people who care about the foundation more than decorating. Also YOU CAN NOT GET WIFI INTERNET IN THIS COMPLEX. Not only am I in a roach infedted place that wont even give me heat to live, I can not use my smart appliances. Disgusting that they would paint but not do any real management here!
