My husband checked us in and we didn't have the best experience. He complained of the room smelling like smoke(which it did) and the manager gave him Febreeze to fix the problem. It was doable with Febreeze and the A/C on but not ideal. We didn't have the best sleep due to the smell. Served its purpose but wouldn't stay here again.

Positive: In this price range, expectations are low. While the room was modest and slight disrepair in places, it was extremely clean and well cared for. The high point, of course, was the staff. Simply lovely people. Kind, helpful, accommodating. Negative: I was assigned a handicapped room to accommodate a king size bed. Perhaps this was the reason a comfortable chair/table was not available. Overall, quite nice, though.

I was in the Fort worth and Dallas area for three days and wanted clean safe lodging without spending too much. My accommodation was clean and safe for the most part, however, I do not like that you have to walk outside to get to your room, which could be far from the front desk. There was no hand soap at the sink in my room, and when I called the front desk to report this, the attendant asked if I could come by to get soap. I asked her to bring the soap to me, as it was an inconvenience to walk back to the front desk. The attendant Stated that she could not. I asked her to ensure that hand soap was provided the following day since they should have ensured that soap was in the room in the first place. I was going to substitute with the soap from the shower area for the night. The attendant did ask a staff member from house keeping to bring soap that same evening and they did. This should have been her response initially when I asked. Either that, or she should have brought it herself, since it was something that they failed to do. The hard soap broke apart upon opening the package because it was so crispy and dry. I was also provided with two shower gels, so that helped. Breakfast is suppose to be included, but according to the attendant at the desk, they are not authorized to served at this time for the safety of their staff due to covid. This is nonsense. If you can open the Inn to gain business then you should be providing breakfast. This would more than likely be buffet style with minimal interaction if any, between staff and guests. Sometimes you just have to pay a little more in order to avoid these scenarios.

The lady at the desk was very nice, never had someone at a motel be that nice, she held a small conversation and awnsered all my questions. The room was very clean, had lots of soap and shampoo/conditioner, the best was comfy and water was hot, made for a comfy bath :)
