We had an ๐๐พ awesome hike out in Fort Worth this morning. Some of the trail was rocky and steep I fell a few times, but it made for a great workout ๐ฆต๐พ. I saw people fishing, mountain biking and people taking their dogs out for a walk and picnic, So it is great for lots of different activities. * let's not forget the beautiful water fall ๐ฅฐ My first time here but I definitely plan on coming back. O and: I looks like someone had a party bags of trash and beer cans everywhere near the falls ๐ next time TAKE YOUR TRASH WITH YOU. SMH๐๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฎ

The area is quite expansive with multiple trails that tend to cross and wind along each other. Take your time to get to the next rest point and you'll be greeted with some very lovely scenic views. I was personally paying too much attention to trail tracker on my phone before I realized I had run up on a whitetail deer. There are usually a number of people there; other hikers, bikers, or a picnic crowd. There's even a mailbox on one of the trails that invites people to leave words of wisdom within the pages of the books inside. I went there initially on the whim, but now I find myself going there more frequently just to clear my head and enjoy the walk.

Dam Drop is a nice steep trail. If you are looking for an easy saunter, I don't recommend it. I enjoyed the challenge and it puts you right into the falls. The falls were pretty and relaxing. The airplanes taking off and landing are pretty cool too. My biggest complaint is all the trash. People, respect the beauty of this place and pick up after yourself.

This place is magical the trails are clearly marked and provide hiking for all levels. The mini waterfalls are breathtaking and we had an amazing time

There's a hiking trail that leads directly down to it from the main parking lot, or there's a bike trail called the "Dam Drop" that will take you there.
There is not
There are a lot of mountain bikers on the trails and down at the bottom we often see people fishing as well. I was told the Fort Worth Mountain Bikers Association built the trails.
Yes, this is a public park. There are no entrance fees though there are no bathroom facilities or water stations.
5:00 am- 11:30 pm
according to the rules you can't swim but many people swim in the waterfall
