The food was fabulous! The server however was horrible. He had zero personality, had to wait for quite awhile. We didn't realize we were ordering off lunch menu, he would not help where to find on menu. Ordered dish with choice of meat, we had to ask the choices and he acted like we were an imposition. We will go back because the food was very good. However, I will ask for a different server, if the same guy.

Absolutely delicious homemade Mexican food! I recommend at the highest level. The salsa is the best I've ever had. The chili relleno was amazing!

Food is always good. Fair pricing. Always busy, but they tend to get people seated fast.

As a resident of South Texas it isn't often I find a Mexican restaurant out of state that is very good. El Sombrero is definitely one of the best, and most authentic Mexican restaurants I've ever been too! Their Beef Combination plate (Beef Enchilada, Beef Burrito, and Chile Relleno) was amazing and tasted just like home!
