At the end of a cruise land tour, we had a half day in Anchorage. We were on the road the last two weeks and not up for a lot of touristy things so we headed to Sullivans for a lovely lunch to relax. Sullivans was recommended by our tour guide and it was an EXCELLENT choice! Walking distance from our hotel, we were there mid day and no crowds. The service was top notch and the food was excellent! The restaurant decor was stylish and the light fixtures fun and updated. I had a ribeye and it was one of the best I’ve had. The servers had perfect wait staff skills, attention to details, pleasant manners and got the order and delivery of food correct! This relaxing meal was just what we needed after a two week Alaska adventure on land and sea!

Excellent overall service and great atmosphere. Very tranquil. The food was delicious. My favorite, the seared ahi tuna was well balanced and the cajun spices just elevated the dish. The mashed potatoes was creamy and smooth. A bit tad salty for my own personal taste but good nevertheless. The crab cakes were delicious. Great consistency, sweet and paired well with the cabbage and carrots. The shrimp and lobster bisque was a bit of a surprise. I was expecting sweet delicate taste of the lobster and shrimp but was spicy. It deviates from the traditional dish but enjoyed it.

Great service, great food, great experience...but expect higher prices. This was an amazing experience. The service was top notch, being attentive but not prone to interruption. Food above all was excellent. Steaks of course, everyone was happy with. I tried non-steak dishes of chicken caesar salad and crab cakes. I couldn't pass up the steak egg rolls though...yum! A non-menu desert special was heavenly - peanut butter "pie" (basically a whipped near ice cream dollop covered in oreo cookie crust) - it was smooth with balanced tastes. I would order that alone just as a treat. For a food critique - the crab cakes were well made, but I decided to ask for the sweet chili sauce from the egg rolls to pour over it - made it even better! Should do that as a permanent addition to the crab cakes recipe. The only poor food was the croutons on the salad - slightly stiffer sourdough bread (likely the same they serve for guests, just prepared as croutons) - it tasted old, and too soft. It would have been better crunchier. Those are easy to pickoff the salads though, and something minor in the presence of the rest of the very amazing other food. Go in expecting higher prices. They are on par with the famous "Crow's Nest" at the top of the Captain Cook hotel. Roughly $15 for starters/appetizers alone. Worthwhile for the price, but for most of anchorage and alaska, it remains a special treat restaurant.

Food has really good flavor! You can smell the flavors of the steak as soon as you walk into the restaurant. Expect to spend some $, but it is well worth it. Treat yourself! Our server was on point and constantly checked in on us. Highly recommend.

Hi Robb, yes you can! We offer a $25 corkage fee.
The food was good based on the several places I dined at while in Anchorage. I definitely would go here over some of the other places I ended up at. I had the lamb chops, macaroni and cheese and the blueberry lemon drop martini. Everything was excellent and I can say there were quite a few places in Anchorage that I didn’t like. Luckily Sullivan’s was not one of them. I will say if you have a Costco membership, you can get $100 worth of gift cards for $75, just FYI.
We recommended business casual in our main dinging room.
It can be both. There is a mix when we go there. The bar side by the street entrance is mostly casual. Just depends on what people are doing when they go there. They could be coming from the PAC or shopping at the mall.
