It's like pulling teeth! I understand there's a waiting list but if people have questions about apartments and you can't help what's the use. I advised her when it says available online she then says "Ok that's incorrect" I try asking about particular apartment in use to and the pics that's showing of remodeled units she then shortly says "Ok it more than likely not be a remodeled unit" To me that makes no sense. The whole demeanor just comes off short, like you're bothering them or they're tired of answering questions. To me it's disappointing and frustrating because a friend suggested you.

I went to their website to look at floor plans and availability since my lease is due to expire soon. My daughter and I walked into the office and was met by a very cold unfriendly woman who looked at me and replied "What do you need?" Not Hello or how may I help you. I proceeded to tell her I was interested in viewing a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment. She asked how soon I wanted to move and when I told her she replied " I won't have anything until November" even though I had already seen on their website that they had a unit available beginning 8/7, I then proceeded to tell her I would still like to view the unit. She told my daughter and me to have a seat in the sitting area. We sat and waited well over 15 minutes without any other contact from the woman. She went to the other side of the office as if we did not exist. Finally we just left. The rudeness and lack of customer service was appalling. No thank you Carlyle Courts!!

Good price for the area and amenities, but do not expect any leniency from management. I was happy with the size and cleanliness of my apartment. I had quiet neighbors and appreciated the appliances included (dishwasher, oven and stove top, microwave, refrigerator, washer and dryer). I also liked all of the adult trees that helped with privacy. After losing my job along with many others in 2020, I thought I would try and apply for the Indianapolis Rental Assistance Program. I communicated this with the front office, and they stated that their corporate office does not allow them to sign any papers on my behalf. All they could do is verify my name and that I lived on the premises. I was unable to apply for the assistance. My move-out date was the day after the big snowfall this month (February 16, 2021). I still had some items to collect on said date. I sent an email to management asking if I could have another day to move my things, depending on the severity of the storm. The written response I received was that an additional day was fine. That day I did decide to go ahead and move the rest. I checked a voicemail that had been left on my phone at 5:00 pm that day about my move out. I called back, and it turned out that I would need to remove everything by the end of the day. Luckily I was able to do so, but what would have happened if I was depending on that extra day? Again, my time in Carlyle Court was fine, but if you are looking for an empathetic or understanding landlord, I would search elsewhere.

A great place to live. I have been a resident at Carlyle for 4 years now and don't plan on leaving. They are quick with maintenance calls and you can tell they really care about the property. Plus the rent is so cheap for being right outside Carmel. They have a lot of employees that live here too which is nice. Overall, I've always been happy living here!

The prices differ based on if you have an upstairs apartment or a downstairs apartment, the sqft, and if you have an included washer/dryer or not.
