I realize you pay for what you get.. I spoke to Tony, he stated he was manager on Friday 4.29.22. He told us how their process works and my car could be picked up Saturday- personally did not want to rush them so I went Tuesday about 11. He had told us that the car is buffed, any rust removed and dents (small) would be fixed. I arrived to find he was a floating manager. No emblems after painted were on car, license plate missing and painted drip marks. I am then told the car could be repainted- NOWAY- car was unlocked in parking lot and the real store manager was Allexis(ALEX) who was out for a moment. She was on a ph call with her insurance company due to insurance not paying all her Bill's and she had a port put in. I explained the problem after she got out of her car. She then told me Tony is floating manager, he shouldn't have stated what he did and she reads the receipt differently-- receipt states on one line for body work above driver door, next line says dents. She didn't care, she refused to call Regional Manager to discuss price- Why pay for items not done or sloppy paint work. They drive car into paint room and while its wet drive through dust debris. Painter couldn't really see drip Mark's after or while painting. We argued for over an hour. Once WE agreed on new price, car wouldn't start. Employee was told not to jump my car, I was extremely upset, called police. Once police were contacted, employees come out and try to jump start with portable charger. Still not enough juice to start. They then pulled a grey van around and jumped car. I asked employee- "is that another person's van they were jumping my car with??" They were told not to speak to me, moved vehicle without me being able to see no tags and Alexis felt threatened by me. Seriously??? They DO NOT DO ANYTHING THEY SAY- PLEASE BE AWARE *** IF IT'S NOT IN WRITING DO NOT BELIEVE THEM- DO NOT THINK BECAUSE YOU SIGNED FOR WORK, THAT THEY CAN HOLD YOUR CAR HOSTAGE. THEIR ATTITUDE, LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE, UNWILLINGNESS TO CALL REGIONAL MANAGER DAVE, & PROVIDING PAINT SERVICES THAT ARE SUBSTANDARD ARE OKAY. DEMAND A DIFFERENCE IN WHAT YOU PAY VERSUS WHAT IS ON WORK ORDER IF YOU STILL WANT TO GO TO THIS OR ULMERTON RD LOCATION WHERE TERRY & CHRIS WORK.....BEWARE OF THEIR COMPENTANCE & SERVICE BEING PROVIDED!!!!! PLEASE DO NOT GO TO MLK(9TH OR ULMERTON LOCATIONS.....

If I could give zero stars, I would. The one and only paint shop in saintpete which doesn’t know the value of ‘ CUSTOMERS, TIME and WORDS. I have painted atleast 5 cars from here in the last 7 years. As everyone I was not using this business because of their quality of work, just because it is cheap. So my expectations were not a lot. We brought our truck here 2months ago. They Painted it without doing any prep works. The truck looked like it was painted with a paint brush or roller. But as usual they blamed us. After so many arguments they end up giving a date to do it again in two weeks. Brought it back the date they told us to. I went to check on it 3days after and so the truck in the same shape and told me they are short staffed, someone quit. Knowing the reality of staffing issues. I aggreed to wait and will pick up the truck that weekend. Went back but the truck was still not ready. (It is our worktruck, We endup tranporting our work equipments in two cars to the work place) Went back on monday but the truck is not ready. They gave us Friday a final date. So we rescheduled my works for saturday. I went there to pick up and the truck is in the paint booth all wrapped. He told me its still not done yet, he missed few spots while painting, he has to do the rest. It looked like someone was learning to use a paint gun. Missed so many spots. They painted the whole bumper, mirror, door handles, logos, and everything we said and mentioned on their workorder to ‘NOT TO DO’. When i asked the painter about it, he said he had another Chevy which needed bumper to bumper painting and he was busy he will paint black again but have to do it after two weeks. (Thats how much they care about your vehicle there) As an owner… How do you expect seeing your property in that condition? Yes I was also frustrated and loud. When i told them they got mad at me instead of apologizing. Told me if I am picking up the truck that day, they will not paint it again. There were more customers walking in with the same complaints while i was there. They end up making me the bad person infront of them to cover their a$$. Since me and my partner bought that truck, it was in this paint shop. The dummies which works there has no knowledge about painting. Old management was far better than the new them. Better dont waste your time. Pay an extra $100 - $200 and paint it somewhere else. There are plenty of paintshops around saintpete. I have more photos, videos and receipts.

My Mazda 3 needed a front bumper replacement and a new coat of paint. At Econo, Kevin explained to me the procedures, gave me a quote that was hundreds of dollars lower than other quotes I had gotten. He verified carefully with the parts and noticed that the car would need a different model bumper from a different year than what was specified in order to not cover the fog lights. The works were performed within a day they received the parts . They did a beautiful job. I was truly impressed with Kevin’s professionalism. I will definitely give Econo a 5 star rating n will recommend all my friends to use their services.
