Dezirae {sp}, Rod, & Thomas! Talk about hospitality in the South! Great views at the private Invited Club (formerly Club Corp). What stands out here is the service! The food was good too though. I had the oysters and then the NY steak which came with truffle fries save arugula salad. The steak came topped with a sauce which was similar to gravy but it did not do the aged cut justice. I would have preferred it on the side. The truffle fries were the standout! I wore fat laces in the 80's but I definitely prefer shoe string fries... Crispy on the outside with just the right potato finish on the inside. I cringed at the ketchup on the side of the plate because it was next to the steak and TRUFFLE fries. Who knew that the acidic condiment would pair so well with TRUFFLE fries... What? This chef knew! Kudos to the chef! The vinegar tang soon subsides and the truffle kicks in. Yowza! Dessert was awesome! Peach cobbler...nuff sed. I love the salty sweet crust.
