Hard to get to up close because you have to take a 1-hour ferry, but worth the trip. Beautiful grounds with manicured lawn (thanks to the wild tortoises!) Great view of the lighthouse from the water, too.

This is an historic and fun day trip if in the area. The ferry ride is about an hour each way with 3 hours to explore the key. The beach was great!

Quiet and secluded. Beautiful scenery. Nice area to get away and walk around the beach.

My favorite way to get to Egmont is to take the ferry that leaves from the Bay Pier at Fort DeSoto. It's a green and yellow boat. Other boat companies offer trips, as well.

No bathrooms. No facilities. Must carry everything you need and as the clerk said, 'you'll have to figure that out". Lovely place otherwise. Enjoy
