This used to be beautifully maintained... obviously new care takers, new rules. The last few times I have been there...silk flowers removed from vase, thrown down and run iver/ shredded by mower leaving trash all around the area. Caretaker had then stuffed trash and a small basket of flowers, which had been hanging on the shepherd hook, (which had been hauled off before we could get it) into the vase. A small angel had been placed on the base of the stone and it's head was broken off. The next time we went was for a funeral. We were told by funeral home that the cemetery would lay our loved one to rest, but in fact my son-inlaw did that himself. Lastly, when we went to visit gravesite 3 weeks later, the grave had been mowed recently, but the dirt was sunken in at least 6 inches, three large flower sprays were still there. Dead, rotting. The appearance was very upsetting. This used to be one of the most beautiful cemeteries, but the new caretaker does not take pride in his work and should be fired.
