This was such a fun and unique experience! I've been to glass blowing studios before, but you typically remain behind a barrier and watch the artisan work from a distance. At Gather, you work one-on-one with a skilled artisan and an assistant to create your own unique piece yourself. It can be a bit nerve-wracking to work with molten glass and super hot furnaces, but they do a great job of instructing and helping you through each step so that you work safely. I've gone to two classes here- Ian, Brian, and Katie were excellent teachers and made the process fun and informative for our whole group. Be aware that it is much hotter in the studio than outside, so dress to stay cool! Note: the piece you make needs to cool overnight, so you can't pick up your finished item until the following day at the earliest. If you're only in town for a limited time, I recommend you plan to do this earlier in your stay so you can retrieve your piece before you go.

What a great experience! Staff were fantastic in their explanations and walk thru experience. Beautiful color varieties to choose from and neat options. With the door open, a fresh breeze blew thru as we stood near the heat. It was truly a remarkable process to watch liquefied glass come to life. They accommodated my request for photos as this was my first glass blowing class. What could be better than making something with your own hands for holiday or birthday gifts?! I have enclosed some photos so you all can see the shop. With over 2 decades of training, the owner has a great attitude and approach. Absolutely loved this! I went for my birthday with my sisters and my daughter and it was an awesome time! They were extremely friendly, helpful, and very safe. I will definitely come back again!

Very nice experience! I went with my fiancé and his family and it was amazing to see how glass pieces can be made. It’s a beautiful process. Would absolutely recommend going here to try making a glass or a vase. They were very friendly as well!
