Absolutely exceptional restaurant/bar!!! I live in Evergreen, but just went to El Rancho for the first time recently and ill be back several times in the very near future. We sat downstairs, which was beautiful. Fireplaces, cool woodwork and all around very cozy. The bartender who waited on us was very sharp, whitty and attentive. The attached picture is the appetizer I cant stop raving about. I was a champion BBQ smoker on the KCBS circuit, and I will say that 3 of the 5 sausages were the best I've ever had. No joke. The sausages are: Deer, Elk, Duck, Rabbit & Rattlesnake. Crazy right? Out of this world good!!! Make sure to explore a bit while there. There are some awesome pieces of western art throughout the building. You won't be disappointed!!!

What a great surprise! I took my mom here for a day inner out and everything we got was great. The service was what I would expect from a white tablecloth type restaurant. We had the Skillet trout and the bison short rib. The short rib was cooked to falling off the bone perfection over a bed of great root veggies including a delicious celery root. The trout was lightly breaded and cooked with skill and the pan sauce complemented it perfectly.

We come home (after moving away) to visit, and we enjoy having a bite to eat at El Rancho. We loved this historical place 40+ years ago, and are thrilled to see it thriving again, after quite a few years of not doing well, and even closed at times. Tonight after arriving we enjoyed a little live music in the Aspen Room, and the food was good. Very busy, very pleasant atmosphere

Been coming here since the 70s. Probably the best it’s ever been. So much history here. Stopped for a quick drink and app. Didn’t disappoint. Tyler and Frank took good care of us. Want to come back when we have more time to enjoy the entrees.
