I have never had a bad experience at an Aveda salon and this is no exception. I’ve been seeing Alexis for about a year now and my hair has never felt healthier. Not only does it always look great when I leave the salon, but Alexis has a huge heart and is so fun to talk to. I grew up hating getting my hair cut but Aveda salons have really turned it around because it’s a full luxury experience, not just a haircut. I’m following Alexis to the Mills location but I have no doubt that one will be equally fantastic.

I called to make an appointment for color correction 2 weeks prior to my appointment. When I arrived, the colorist did not smile or welcome me; perhaps because I have long hair. I told her I was correcting my color and she asked when it was last done. She proceeded to tell me she wouldn’t do my hair and walked away. No one offered to make an a return appointment. The colorist did not apologize as wrongly indicated below. Due to the lack of accountability as indicated below, the appointment with Salon Dulay for the second future appointment was cancelled in response to the inaccurate review of events below. I asked to speak to a manager and explained that I had taken a day off of work and arranged childcare. The manager did make an appointment with a different colorist for me, but was at an inconvenient time. Not being able to have the color service was disappointing, but this was compounded by the colorist making me feel unwanted like trash. Not what I expected from an Aveda salon
