By far the best place to go if you have any questions or concerns about your vehicle‘s transmission! Sam the front end technician and Dave the owner were super friendly and helpful their customer service was outstanding and they took care of my vehicle as if it was their own. They answered every single one of my questions didn’t make me feel rushed! And said that if I had any other questions that I am more than welcome to drop by or give them a call anytime I like. Anybody who has any transmission issues or just general questions about your vehicle definitely visit your Clearwater AAMCO!

We could not be more pleased. We were referred by our mechanic and were told they "are the best", and we have to agree. We brought our 2004 F-150 in with a nonengaging 4x4. They could have easily told us we needed a full replacement for thousands of dollars. But they were honest and just replaced the dead transfer case moyor costing less than a thousand! They got us in right away and were fast and efficient while keeping in communication so we knew what was happening. FIVE STAR service at a great price!

Had a Reman transmissions replaced and rear main seal. Transmission shifts flawlessly. Truck had minor issues after repair for leaking oil and trans fluid. David and Sam got me back in the shop IMMEDIATELY and we chased down the issue. Being very mechanical myself I usually do all repairs but was in a pinch with a family issue and they had me on the road with minimal issues. As it goes sometimes things go wrong and they were so cool with the added repairs- at no cost I might add. Well def be bringing all my vehicles there from now on if I'm too busy. Anthony

I went in for a second opinion. When I call a very friendly young man answered the phone and invited me to come. When I got there I was treated good. Once they looked at my vehicle, I was told the work would take 5-6 hours of labor to eliminate a knocking noise by who I assumed was the manager or head mechanic. He was not as friendly and seemed as if my presence annoyed him. When I asked if they could guarantee after spending over $1000 that that would fix the problem, he told me if he were me he would go somewhere else to get the work done and he did not say it nicely. I told him he I didn't ask for that type of opinion I asked about the guarantee. He told me he didn't want to work on my vehicle. I wasn't shocked because I have encountered people like him all my life. I told him I review alot and told me say what you want we have been here over 20 years. I'm not saying they are good or bad, I am saying that was bad experience for me and would not recommend my friends or family to ever go there.

Depending on your driving habits and the type of transmission your vehicle is equipped with, manufacturers’ recommendations can be as often as 30,000 miles or as much as 80,000 miles. Always check your owner’s manual for the proper time and mileage intervals and type of fluids your vehicle requires.
After the initial Vehicle Courtesy Check review of the systems related to your stated concern with the vehicle, at this point, you have little or no cost applied yet. The process of actually diagnosing and pinpointing the problem on a vehicle in order to only repair or replace exactly what is causing the issue and nothing more can be quite involved and it is worth paying a skilled diagnostician to properly diagnose and repair your vehicle's problem. In the end, this process saves you money and helps ensure the proper repair is done correctly the first time.
