The office never advised payment in full was needed at the time of visit. The receptionist couldn’t print out a receipt for insurance. 5 days later and I’m still waiting. The Dr wanted me to start a regime of rx that could only be filled at a “specialty” pharmacy telling me they would be free. The pharmacy called informing me it would $145 for 2 prescriptions and a face wash. I won’t be going back.

Dysfunctional Let me preface here with saying the following: I’m giving Dr. Sivanesan the benefit of the doubt in the sense that I honestly think she does care for her patients. This review in no way reflects her ability to perform as a doctor and if that’s all you care about, great. However, when running a practice you also have to account for the business side of things and this is where this criticism takes full swing. So here’s the deal, this practice does and does not take the same insurance. Wait what? Let me explain, they have various elements here all of whom make up the same practice, but the PA for some reason will accept my insurance whereas the doctor will not. Surely enough, this inevitably creates some serious confusion and I can attest to this as I was a witness to multiple arguments b/w various patients and the front desk (this was while I was waiting to check in). To be clear, I specifically asked to see Dr. Sivanesan when I made my first appointment. I was asked my insurance information and I was told no problem. Apparently, b/c this practice is so booked, I had to wait several weeks before I could have the appointment. Fair enough I thought, sometimes you just have to wait for good service. Nope… A few days before my appointment I’m told I will see the PA. Ok, so I figured I’d see the PA and towards the end I’d get to see the doctor for a few questions. No, only the PA… So my initial visit was with the PA and my insurance was charged as if I had seen the physician. Strike one. I then schedule a follow up appointment specifically with the doctor, but she’s not available for several weeks. Fine. But it wasn’t until literally the day before I received a call telling me that she was out of my network. Wait, what? I see the PA who is part of the practice and takes my insurance, but not the doctor??? I pay out of pocket. Strike two. I finally get to see the doctor. No exam, she only does what was scheduled for the visit. I also didn’t really get a chance to ask all of my questions. Ok, that one is probably on me – I should have been more assertive. I schedule one last appointment (it was required anyway) and I figured I’d get to ask all of my questions then. No, apparently b/c the visit was for something specific, I wasn’t allowed to do anything outside of that. So, I waited a full month b/w appointment #2 to appointment #3 only to be told that I couldn’t request anything outside of what was originally planned for that appointment. Strike three… Oh' and the medical assistant or whoever she was (she never introduced herself) was on a mission – run as many patients through for max billing as possible. Talk about terrible bedside manner! In sum, medicine and business are two completely different disciplines. You can be a great doctor, but if you don’t have the business acumen to run the practice, it won’t work. Each visit had me feeling like this was some run-of-the-mill clinic and quite frankly their bedside manner was so atrocious I felt frustrated for days. It’s a shame as I’m sure the doctors in this practice are very good, but just unavailable.

Don't bother going unless you want to be double charged for absolutely everything and be threatened with collections. They charged me twice for every visit and even after getting on the phone with their billing department they refused to correct. Every time I got on the phone with their billing department the only thing I ever heard was "I'll have to look into that I'll call you back" and never got a call back. They also spam your phone number with text messages about the past due bills.

Unprofessional. Worked for 2 weeks and quit because the Dr is incredibly rude. Didn't even get paid. Will be suing her to get my money that she owes me
