Lovely grounds. The kids had fun running around and seeing the sculptures. We had the BLATT sandwich at the cafe and it was delicious. They have to have one of the coolest gift shops I’ve seen. There were a bunch of interesting books, funny knickknacks and beautiful items. But my favorite part was going to the top of the museum and seeing the breathtaking view.

The grounds were lovely for a picnic and to walk around on. Loved the fountain sculpture but some of the others were not very impactful. The trees on the property were absolutely breathtaking! I wish there were more sculptures

If you are thinking about coming to deCordova to visit I highly recommend taking a day to do so. I uploaded a ton of photos so you can get a sense of the space. The park is large enough to easily explore for the day and there is plenty of artwork to seek out and find. Sometimes it feels like a treasure hunt and art turns up where you least expect it. The castle offers panoramic views of the ground if you go up to the roof deck. Also it is the museum which offers more work to explore, photography and paintings too. We spent time waking around, letting our children enjoy the space, showing them art, and picnicking in one of the many grassy fields. I highly recommend coming. If you are going to come more than once, because and Audubon member. Also, try to come early if you can.

Loved the grounds to explore sculptures! Nice gift shop as well. Timed entry! Lots of paths to enjoy sculptures without having other guests in your space

Yes, the entrance fee includes both the outside and inside exhibits.
Is there a fee to visit?
Yes, outside
https://decordova.org/visit/admission Only a buck if you have an EBT Card - good deal
Just call them directly :))) that way you'll know for sure.
Yes. They have a cafe, but they welcome picnickers. They have benches and shaded green space and public water and bathroom, so it's a nice spot for a picnic, in fact.
Dogs are welcome on leash in the sculpture park and you must clean up after them.
Yes
Every sculpture has an identifying plaque with the name of the sculpture and the artist
Didn't see any wheelchairs or scooters for loan. There are lots of shady spots and lots of sunny spots. It's got plenty of wooded areas, some of which are loaded with sculptures. I've seen plenty of people picnicking in shady spots as well as sunny spots. Much of the sculpture park is wheelchair accessible, but parts of it are difficult.
Trustees Members, Lincoln residents, children 12 and under, and active duty military personnel and their families are always free. Visitors with EBT, WIC, and Mass Health are eligible for $1 admission.
They might ask for ID but no it's free for Lincoln residents. I'm not sure about the reservations/limit on people right now tho.
The shop is inside the gate so you must buy tickets
I do not know unfortunately.
"Can I bring my dog? Yes, dogs are allowed on the property but must always be leashed. Dogs are not allowed inside the Museum. "
Yes. The ticket grants you access to both. There is no separate ticket for the grounds.
They are open from 10am to 5pm every day. It is a good place to see some good art. It's pretty big and we didn't finish the walk.
It's included in the cost of admission: $18 for adults, $14 for seniors, $12 for students. Children under 12 are free.
There are sometimes special programs on their schedule for a fee but I don't recall one specifically for art lessons for kids
Some scattered tables & benches, but not many. I recommend bringing a picnic blanket or folding chairs.
Yes
I went earlier this winter when the weather was fair and the ground was a little wet from some melting snow, but otherwise it was very nice. Just make sure to plan your footwear ahead!
Parts of the sculpture park are on paved, gently sloping paths. Surfaces are generally well maintained. There are parts, however, that are on wooded paths or up steps. That being said, I've often seen people with walkers, wheelchairs or scooters enjoying themselves. Definitely give it a try!
You need to pay to park so if that entrance part isn't open I'd think not but I went once when the museum building was closed but had a great time walking around among the sculptures.
The website has a schedule of events
No, but on a weekday it might be ok to take a bunch of spaces at the back of the lot. It's a series of terraced lots on a hill, so maneuvering won't be easy.
There is not a fee to enter the gift shop specifically but there is a fee to enter the park and the gift shop is in the park
