Part of Historic New England, this architectural example of "mid-century modern" was only mildly interesting to someone who grew up surrounded by the same. The young architectural students on the tour were quite taken by it, however. Not elder or handicapped friendly in the slightest; long periods of standing, decent was very soft spoken and said she was unable to speak any louder. She also kept pointing out that you can see and hear all about it on its website. Unless you are a student of architecture or mid-20th century history, spare yourself the visit and check the website instead.

Nicely kept grounds surrounding a well maintained example of contemporary design home. Small parking lot make this one of historic New England's more difficult sites to visit by car. Bike access is good however there is no bike rack.

Beautiful architecture and a very informative tour! I came with my architectural class and everyone loved it. It's also in close proximity to a Chick-fil-A, so hit that up on the way home and you'll have a great day!

Gropius house is an amazing work of art in a beautiful landscape. Very well maintained it shows not only the architecture but all the furniture and objects of Gropius' family in place. The guided visit is excellent! Loved it!
