Nicest guys. Justin and his Co-worker who missed name were great at walking me through first vist there. Need to be a resident , they take most items. U need to get a card and permit at Townhall. Closed Sunday and Monday. seems easy to drop off stuff and dudes even running out to help ppl if needed. Not much else to say

Highly professional staff working under difficult conditions. Town should spend some money on maintaining the travel surface of road leading to lower level (yard and lawn waste composting area), and on upgrading facility for the health and safety of employees.

Permits for redidents are $95, then you must buy a punch card for $75. Recyclables do not count towards your punches. Single stream recycling. Open Tuesday through Saturday. More info here: https://www.eastgreenbush.org/departments/transfer-station
The facility does, but there is a fee for the item, as well as a few if it still contains refrigerant. The website head all the particulars.
