Rules and regulations are ridiculous! Never cook with oil or grease on stove top. So, I'm guessing tenants have to eat soups, sandwiches and salads often. Told rent was going to be a lesser amount than what tenant has to pay. Can only have white blinds in windows but there are no blinds in the windows. Why should a tenant have to pay for blinds so the park will own the blinds? Told that weekly rent can only be paid by money order but now weekly rent should be paid in cash only. Please DO NOT put cash in the dropbox! You will have no proof that rent was paid but Grandview Mobile Home will have your money!!!

The photographs available online are an obscene depiction of what this location actually looks like. The ad is friendly and invites you to call and speak to staff who are available and eager to easily qualify you and move you right in, "tomorrow". After leaving several messages not returned someone answered the phone and I got an appointment. I knew as soon as I got there I wasn't interested. I went to the office out of curiosity. The door was locked. A resident was at the office door also. She knocked and rang the bell without response. I had a 2 o'clock appointment and it was 2:05 when the resident called... the property manager opened the door at about 2:10 to a prospective customer with an appointment, and the resident paying for access to the administration of this place. I was instructed to sit, my appointment not acknowledged. The manager spoke with the resident about a highly personal situation with utter disregard for her right to be addressed in privacy. She finished and came back to me and told me to sit in the char next to the one I was in. Ok. My appointment was to view the available space, to decide if I would make an application. I was asked to show the Florida legal identification for each prospective resident. I said I was just here today to look at the open unit. I was told that in order to look at a one I would first have to produce legal ID(s). I thanked her for her time and she asked if I didn't want to schedule another appointment to come back. I explained that if I did I would cal. She assured me that I wasn't being singled out, this was the policy for all prospective applicants. I said that I had never heard of a policy like theirs but was sure I wasn't being treated differently. My biggest issue is the across the board misrepresentation of the physical community, the ease and enthusiasm you would would experience applying, and the unqualified disrespect and disregard for both both people I saw that day.

Showed up for appointment, lady had a whole attitude as soon as she opened the door. She did not know we had an appointment and seemed very upset that we had the audacity to show up. We brought IDs for the adults present and paystubs, and our dog as they requested to meet her. They did not inform us that we would need my fiancé’s ID as he would not be there and all we were doing was a walkthrough. Lady did not show us the home because they needed to do a background check before they even let us go in the house and would not run the background check on only the adults present even though the other adult wasn’t even there and would not be entering home. Claimed they mentioned the background check on the phone but they did not and she wouldn’t even know if they did considering she didn’t even know we had an appointment. We were only informed to bring IDs which we did of those present and that we would be doing a walkthrough which you don’t need a background check for, especially on someone that wasn’t even there. Had a bad attitude the whole time and did not want to answer our questions at all. From the other reviews we were already weary of showing up but would definitely not want to rent from these a-holes or have children around them.

When I arrived to view the property, I was greeted with. “Do you have an appointment? Because we’re real busy.” And I said yes I do. She still said there were two families ahead of me and my 4pm would be closer to 5pm. No problem, it happens. I sat to wait and another girl asked again if I had an appointment. When I said yes she said, “Well where are your IDs and pay stubs?” I said I’m not submitting an application I want to view the property first. But apparently, what they don’t tell you on the phone, is that you must provide a full application, which has FEES, before even seeing a home. That’s a scam!! The outside of the buildings don’t look too good and you want me to pay $200 to see the inside? I’ll pass.
