Moved into the neighborhood a few months back and I can honestly say I visit Lion's Paw at least once a month :) Sammy is such a great, kind, and knowledgeable guy. I've gotten some wonderful pieces there to decorate my home. His shop is full of very unique antiques and very rare collectables. This place is a MUST visit!!!

I previously purchased an item at Lion’s Paw and had a pleasant experience. However my most recent experience demonstrated extremely unethical and dishonest business practices. About two weeks ago, I was interested in purchasing a watch. When I inquired the owner, he expressed that the watch was priced at $20 and that it was “not valuable”. On 7/24/2022, I stopped by the store ready to purchase the watch and inquired a different gentleman (note that watch was in the display case for sale). He then proceeded to call the owner and stated that the watch did not have a sticker price. After I directly chatted with the owner and sent a picture to his phone I awaited a response for about half an hour. He then stated that he did not recall our previous conversation and that the watch was not for sale. I then returned to the store front and the watch was longer in the display case and the owner “had forgotten” it was not for sale. Avoid at all cost.

Lion's Paw Antiques is where I found my engagement ring and I could not be happier! Not only did the owner graciously assist me and my fiance in trying on multiple rings but was also able to share his expertise with us about the quality of the ring. Given my skeptical personality, I had it appraised after purchase from Lion's Paw and it was appraised at 3x the value that we paid for the ring!!! Thank you so much to Sammy, the owner of this shop for his patience, kindness and sincere demeanor while I browsed and finally found my beautifully unique ring. I would highly recommend this antique shop to anyone looking for high quality antiques and genuine, sincere and kind nature of the owner. Thank you Sammy!!!!!! We will definitely be back!!!

I’ve been to plenty of antiques & vintages stores from New York City, DC, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, and of course Florida and I want to say Lion’s Paw is my favorite! It holds such beautiful and unique antique jewelry (also high end such as David Yurman) and luxury bags. Gorgeous furnitures and home decor for home decorating. So many different collectibles imaginable. It’s a place you’ll find your treasures. It’s a MUST VISIT when visiting St Petersburg! Another awesome thing is that the owners were so nice. Sam was kind to give up some of his time to educate myself and my cousin about certain items. He was also reasonable with prices. Just ask!
