I have never stayed at a KOA before so can't compare it to others like it. However, this is on a lovely spot on the Yampa river conveniently close to town. It is clean and well-tended. The fifth star is specifically for the very nice and friendly staff.

What a beautiful stay! This was perfect for our late mornings and afternoons of seeing the sights! There was some repaving going on at “the island” but owner was so accommodating and kept us informed!

Unfortunately the pull through campsites across the River are still under construction. Should be nice when finished, but currently feels like your in a highway construction zone. Asphalt trucks, large work crews, noise, no garbage disposal on this side, no cable hook up, muddy. Just not ready for customers yet. I asked if they would consider a discount as I’m paying full price for a partially finished campsite. The answer was a swift NO. I recommend you find another spot, until they get their act together. Not what I expected from KOA

We hosted our wedding here and it was amazing! The scenery is perfect, and our guests enjoyed staying in the cabins to have everyone close! My children loved playing and the playground, renting the bikes, and playing putt putt. We could let the kids run freely knowing that they would be safe. We stayed in one of the new cabins on the island. It was beautiful and clean. Can't wait to go back!

I don't know but usually charge about five bucks and I don't think they ever close
When we there we went fishing in the river but then we use it for the base camp then we just go other than at night it's just me and my husband but we went shopping we went exploring that's how we found Steamboat Lake we went upthere stay for 3 days just drive around and see what's there to see General you'll find something to do

There's not one at the KOA but there is one about a half mile a a way in Steamboat Springs there is Two more EV chargers and Two Tesla charging centers at Steamboat Springs resort . About a mile and a half from the KOA.
We stayed with two large dogs. As long as they were quiet no one cares. We occasionally left them in an air conditioned travel trailer and all was well,.
I don't believe there are any utensils, we camped there. So we didn't use the cabins.
