The guy in the wheelchair at the self check-out was so rude and condescending. The receipt printer was out of paper and he came up to us and counted us and said “one, two, three… between you, you should be able to figure it out.” I’m sorry your machine was out of paper. Who talks like that to a customer?? Unbelievable.

Outstanding pharmacy. Very professional and friendly. Were able to get a prescription filled quickly when competition across the street was unable after giving me run around for 3 hrs.

Outstanding deli, bakery, produce, and meat and seafood departments. Their grocery shelves are consistently stocked. Their staff is always fun and friendly. Visitors be forewarned, like most ski towns, they're required to charge for paper bags, so pick up a couple of reusable bags or totes.

Carl Walker

This Safeway needs tons of work. The parking lot is a nightmare in the winter because they won't have the snow hauled away, so there is always frozen ice and puddles everywhere, the store gets cleaned some of the time, employees don't smile and need lots of customer service training. The only two reasons I go there are the in house sourdough bread and the Lucerne Half and Half.
