We weren't there when the pier was open. It is a very small Pier with a store but we didn't get to go inside it closes at 5 pm. If you do go on the Sunset Cruise use the bathroom before and I would recommend bringing something to eat and drink. We met up at Merry Pier for the Sunset Cruise. We enjoyed that Sunset Cruise if you have the chance I would recommend you take it. The captain was very good at explaining everything and he was very funny also and it made the trip even more wonderful. It was only $25 a person. an hour and a half and like I said to bring food and drinks we didn't think we would be hungry till we saw everyone with their (pizza)food and drinks.

There are no words that could explain the beauty and tranquility of this amazing place. Water tours (Must go to Shellkey), Deep Sea Fishing, Great Restaurants and last but not least right next to the Beach!! Go there!! You will not be disappointed.

Drove from Oklahoma on our honeymoon in October 2020 and probably one of my favorite places we stopped. Definitely worth the trip, especially if you go on the shell key shuttle.

They gave us a parking pass in the store where the boat is for the street spots, there were dogs on board, the owner had a sweet chocolate lab retriever, everyone caught a lot of fish
Yup!
Unfortunately we do not have any available slips due to past storm damage. Repairs should be starting in October.
$15 for four hours includes a dozen live shrimp
We are requiring masks in boat ride and in the pier shop. Thank you.
Kids 16 and under do not need a license. You can purchase a 24 hour pass at the pier for any adults for $3 plus tax
If you have your fishing license it is free to fish. We almost always have live shrimp for $3 a dozen and several types of frozen bait. We also rent rods if you need on.
We post updates on the Merry Pier Facebook page from time to time. Fishing changes daily depending on wind conditions, tides and weather. A report would not be a guarantee of what you might catch on any given day.
We provide Shell bags, mask and snorkel and an umbrella for each group. Chairs and coolers are ok to bring just no alcoholic beverages on Shell Key. Most people stay between 2 and 4 hours
Road is open from 12th all the way to 1st lots of paid parking available
We have a pier pass for $3 for 24 hours for people over the age of 16. Under 17 years old don’t need one. Florida residents can get a free shoreline license at my FWC.com
It was cancelled due to road construction. The newspaper listed it in error. We reported the mistake to then several days before.
We talked to a local that fishes there about every weekend and he was telling us about all the different species they catch there. Once you are done fishing you can walk a block over to the beach, shops, and restaurants.
