15 mules from I-25. Electric / water sites are parallel to each other. No privacy. No trees or shade at site. Showers are back at headquarters. Partial gravel road. Sites are level. There are fire pits. Can be windy with sudden lightening storms.

Have been coming here for approximately 30 years, and will probably be coming back for many more. That being said, I do believe that the campground maintenance has fallen behind, facilities are clean, but goat head weeds are horrific. Ranger patrol seems to be non existent, parking is chaos. Hopefully this is only temporary, as this is a great lake and all the people we've met over the years have been terrific.

Beautiful state park. Has a large beach. Lot's of really nice camping area's. The beach is amazing. I'm really impressed with the restrooms are so clean and the camping areas. They take meticulous care of this beautiful park.

They started draining it on the 8th of July !!! But grey rocks is still full !!
The lake is drained at this time of year so there might be a little water that is frozen.
In Wyoming about an hour away from I think Nebraska I'm not to sure I'm sorry but it's beautiful out there.

Tent sites on Sandy Beach have alot of ants

You just have to be careful where you walk. They like shady areas from the heat. They come out when it starts getting hot. I would have a walking stick. Your welcome Kaci Ebensberger. Have a good time.
