We sat at the bar and Jack waited on us. The service was excellent. He didn't miss a beat. One of my friends ordered margaritas and thought they were divine. The place is known for the stone crab but pretty much anything you order is good. Jack recommended anything with grouper. I particularly enjoyed the pineapple slaw. The views are fabulous and the marine decor makes you feel like you are on ship. It is a nice place for date night or for the family. It was a great experience, especially because of Jack. Give that man a raise!

After a grueling day of hiking and snorkeling at Shell Key Preserve, we topped off our day with some fantastic dinners at Billy's Stone Crab. The entire decor is inviting and comfortable. We were seated with a perfect view of the wharf and inlet. It was rather tranquil. I had their outstanding Angus beef burger topped with pepper jack with a side of fries, while my wife had their snow crab legs with pineapple cole slaw (and yes it was good). We topped off our dinner with key lime pie. Our waitress was perfect as was the entire experience.

I had the flounder and my husband had the Mahi Mahi. Both were very fresh. Coleslaw was great...not the usual like other places swimming in mayo. This was perfect..great Cajun fries. Only problem was the clam chowder that was extra thick...good flavor.

We've come to Billy's Stone Crab for New Year's Eve and ordered the lobster and prime rib dinners we were told extra large lobsters would come in and that's what we ordered! The extra large lobsters prove to be very tiny and management reduced the bill to reflect that. We ordered medium rare prime rib and it came in very overcooked and so they replaced it with a lovely medium rare peace. But by then the green beans and potatoes were pretty cold. Wine helps! We'd ask for a nice table with a good view at 5:30 but we're giving the table next to the kitchen. Oh well another disappointment!

Umm no, Franklin is wrong. we were closed the thursday before the hurricane and opened the tuesday after. How could we stay open when the whole island was under evacuation?

There is always entertainment even if there is not a band it is very packed so make sure you do a review they are ultimate professionals there have a great time!

We were there on Saturday and our Temps were taken at the door, place was very clean and staff wore masks. We felt very comfortable during our visit.

Yes, we are open on Christmas Eve! In fact, we celebrate every year with a Christmas Eve Sing-along at the Piano Bar. That begins around 5:30pm.
