There aren't many options outside dry camping in the Leadville area, so kudos for this business for being there. However, it needs some work. Spaces were tight. Less than two feet between our camper and the neighbor. Grass needs mowed. While there are strips of mostly level concrete for the camper, everything around it is dirt/mud. Adding gravel to the parking pads will help tremendously with the post-rain mud. Turns within the camp are very, very tight. I pulled a 34-foot travel trailer and had 1-2 inches of space around obstacles getting in and out of my spot. Definitely not for large campers unless you are on an outer rim location. For location, it's excellent. Just at the entrance to the road into Turquoise Lake and all the trails there. Leadville is just a few miles up a (very bumpy) road. Cell signal is oddly horrible. We put up a WeBoost tower and still got sketchy cell coverage although there are numerous cell towers in Leadville. Couldn't figure that one out.

This is a real godsend for well-worn travelers! You don't have to camp at Sugar Loafin' to get this perk. A warm shower of unrestricted duration for $10.00 in a clean, friendly atmosphere warrants an enthusiastic 5 STARS ✨

Nice little mountain campground. Full hook-ups a plus. Reasonable rates and nice level site. Staff was very friendly. Super great location - minutes to hiking, turquiose lake, and downtown Leadville. Highly recommend if you want to stay at the highest campground in the country!!

We made reservations 6 or more months in advance for a specific campsite. We stayed in this campground 30 years before and had great memories. That is why we returned. Instead of the site we reserved they put us in a site who's only view was a piece of earth moving equipment. No view if the majestic mountains. They gave our site to a group of 4 wheelers. The campground had not changed in over 30 years. It was rundown, in disrepair, run by kids, the owner was absent, no dryers in the laundry room, roads were in bad shape and very dated. We would not stay in this campground again. I do not recommend this campground.

Agreed! Their bathroom facilities were wonderful. We really enjoyed staying at this campground, it's so close to town and turquoise lake and in such a beautiful location.
