The upper ring has nice campsites with a large parking lot and ease of access. The was hardly anyone there. Nice trees on site. We were able to string up three hammocks. Large firepit and nice picnic table. Beautiful views! The vault toilets were the biggest and cleanest I've ever seen at a campground!

Such a beautiful campsite and lake! However my experience was tainted by the campsite host, Dale, who was intrusive and discriminatory. The campsite next to us had been loud the night before we arrived and because we were friendly with them and hung out during the day, she was constantly coming over and checking on us. Quiet hours started at 10 pm and she came by at 10:02 and told us we had to put out our fire and go inside of our tents. What is the point of paying for this campsite if you are told to be in bed by 10 pm...
