Had booked three nights; the day we left, our tow vehicle developed problems & needed emergency repair. We returned to Montrose, and to Cedar Creek RV; the staff was very friendly and helpful throughout. Only reason not to give five stars was the very tight accommodations in the front couple of rows of sites and the fact that nobody told us the sewer system for the 3-4 sites surrounding ours was clogged up, requiring us to use the dump station.

Booked a cabin online for one night while on a road trip. Arrived after hours and found our key taped to the office door with a map to the cabin. However, another guest's map was also included and we drove around lost & confused for a few minutes before we realized we had another map with it. Our cabin had no plumbing, which I knew at booking. However, the website boasts bathrooms available for guests. Bathrooms, showers, and laundry facilities were all closed and locked up from 10pm-7am. Y'all, that's a long time to have no facilities. I would not have booked here had this information been included. Also, the one bathroom facility is not very close to the cabin. If it were available overnight, I would not have felt safe walking across the rv park. I would have had to drive, so not at all convenient. The cabin itself was fairly clean. The loft carpet is stained and under the bed was pretty disgusting, which I only noticed when we were packing up to leave and I checked for anything we may have dropped. We did have a bed for the night but overall this stay was disappointing and did not meet our needs.

When we arrived, we were told by the host that the tent camping sites were completely under construction and literally filled with manure. So they directed us to a small patch of grass, very closely placed to other campers. Our site didn't have a fire ring or even a picnic table. The host brought us a picnic table missing one side, so we weren't even able to utilize it. Pretty frustrating, given the two sites next to us had full picnic tables. One of the sites even had a fire pit. If the tent sites are under construction, why continue to book them out?

Great location and fair price, but needs work. It has all the workings to be great. A large, shady lot, decent size sites, beautiful creek runs through it, and great little tiny houses and cabins. 1 mi from historic downtown Montrose, 20 mi to Black Canyon, an hour to Telluride and Ouray. But only one set of bathrooms, which are old and not super clean. Laundry room is also small, only three washers and dryers. No other amenities. With some work and upgrades, and better marketing, they'd pack this place. That said, we enjoyed our stay, and have no major complaints.
