Really nice park that has something for most anyone. A nice trail, splash pad, playground, skate park, basketball hoops, picnic tables, an ampitheatre and benches. A wooded area to shield you from the sun. Bathrooms and outdoor showers. Plenty of free parking.

Excellent public park with space aplenty for everything you want to do from running to exercise or just relaxing. Plenty of parking and access to restroom/water. Water and other fun things for the kids to be happy. Nice fountains and walks /trails theough water and forest. Plenty of turtles and ducks floating on the lake. Beautiful park indeed.

One of Hillsborough County's newest parks. This park is a very creative way for the county to use the land and reclaimed water from the nearby water treatment plant. The lake is brimming with wildlife from turtles to fish and a large variety of birds. The kids all loved feeding the ducks. These can all be observed from the wide boardwalk that crosses the lake. We did not see any gators. The park staff told us there was a small gator but is was removed to a better home much farther from the park. The park has a very nice walking trail, kids playground with splash pad, exercise areas and a very large dog park for both large and small dogs. An interesting feature is the area where the shrubs, trees and plants have been labeled. I learned the names of a couple trees I've seen in neighborhood yards and had no idea what they were called. The park is very popular during the week and can get much more crowded on the weekends.

Another nice and very well maintained Hillsborough county park. Sufficient parking available. There is nice children play area and also a splash pad. Restrooms are available for public. There is lake near the play area and trails that go around the lake. There are 2 different kind of children play area and restroom available near both play areas. There is also a amphitheater in the park. Birthday parties can be arranged at shelters located. Information center is also available.

It is open as of 9/3/2020
Same here, Jenni. I just take granddaughter to playground and dog to dog park
As far as I know it is I've been there during the week and on the weekends and the small dog park is always open I've never seen it closed
Haven't found one
I have seen reserve sogns on the picnic pavillions. You would have to contact tue park to reserve.
Yes it is
It's within walking distance, but you can't see both clearly at the same time
I think the gate opens right around 8, like 8:10. I don't believe you can park before the park opens😊This is what a friend told me!
YES THE PARK IS GOING TO BE OPEN BUT STAFF MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE AT THE SPLASH PAD.
It's always open unless COVID closure is imposed again
Yes but there are not many fish
Your not allowed, and You Definitely don't want to fish there..it's all runoff
I believe so...people have bounce houses there and music.
Yes, it was open when I was there last weekend. The grass was tall at the time, like almost a foot.
You can ride bikes
Some of them are yes there a lot of kids there playing yesterday
No not yet
No
No, I don't recall seeing any
Its closed for winter and will re open for summer
If they have large bouncehouses, with four tables and are free, and it is a good place to make a birthday, you just have to contact the people in the park to reserve the place.
I've been here fishing for 3 hours now, and no fish no bites no fish jumping either
This is a Hillsborough county park that is open and free to the public so you don't need to be a Carrollwood Village resident. The keypad allows police officers to have 24/7 access to the property so that they can use their 24/7 police gym that is also located on the property.
