Beautiful, small mountain. For me, it won't be worth frequent day trips from the front range, but absolutely worth the stop passing through. Staff was very nice and lunch was great. Excellent for the experience for the price

I love this Ski area!! They have a variety of lift lines and trails to accommodate all levels of skiers!! I love how you can ski at the top of the Continental Divide!!! What really sucks about Monarch is that if you have a tight budget and bring food from home to eat, they only have places for you to eat that are outside!!! They don't want you to be able to rest and warm up on a cloudy day as you try and enjoy a good meal!! Maybe if enough people complain they may listen!!

Great place for great skiing, without the huge lines of larger corporate resorts! Nice variety of terrain for all skill levels. Would be even better if the double lifts had foot rests and there was at least a tow line to the top of Mirkwood. The food quality was a bit poor also and costly, and we were eating at the Saloon. Otherwise, parking was easy and we had fun!

Always an amazing place to go. Definitely great to take beginners and kids. Lots of easy runs. I always enjoy going at the beginning of the season to get my legs back under me before going to some of the other mountains i enjoy boarding . Planning to hopefully make another trip to monarch in Jan.

Usual ski resort prices not too cheap for not too fancy food. The lower bar has some windows you can see some skiing at, if you're at the bar. And they sell tamales which is the best deal there and probably the nicest part. Rest is more cafeteria like.
You will need to contact the ski area.
I believe you can go to the resort website and click on [Learn to ski/snowboard] or [Get instructions] (it's something to that effect. Lol) and then you will see a spot that says leave comments and you just click there. I hope I was able to help. 😁
No, it does not. Rental fees are seperate.
https://www.skimonarch.com/conditions/ Check out our website for all current weather and snow conditions. We have a 37" base at the moment and have been getting a little bit of fresh snow almost nightly. It's skiing really nice out there!
Yes but you have to ask an employee to use it.
I'm pretty sure they don't/won't me and my family came in the spring and didn't see any bike trails or anything. But there are probably sone great trails around there. As for the lifts I'm not fully sure, I'd guess that they'd be open though.
