waited 20 minutes in the drive thru because the dining is in process of remodeling. i ordered spicy thighs and they said 10 extra minutes. i figured that the kitchen was busy, but it was understandable. but No! when you have to wait like 40 minutes, and get cold fries and ice melted soda, it is no longer fun. this could’ve been mitigated if employees told me more accurate wait time. extremely disappointing! i’m only a customer here because Anchorage only has 1 Popeye’s location. i’ve had several bad customer service experiences in the past and wished it would get better... i was wrong.

I placed an online order and the receipt said to pickup through the drive thru. A sign in the drive thru said not to use the drive thru for online pickups and to go inside. This handwritten sign is on the menu, so you have to drive through and park. The exit parking is to the back of the store. The door is sometimes locked. The front entrance is locked due to construction. Sometimes the door is unlocked again. Inside (in the photo) is as seen with a note stating to call a phone number when you've arrived to pickup an order and to not enter. When you call the number, no matter how many times across any span of time, it will give you a busy signal. When the food is ready someone will come out of the door and ask for your name to bring your order out. The entire transaction seemed a little long considering there were only three of of waiting inside and only one car behind us when I went inside, but I can chalk that up to short staffing and I won't fault them that much. Nonetheless, from the time of ordering to the time I had my food in my hand, about 40 minutes. I admittedly had a large order and may have caught them at a bad time l, but it wasn't outrageous. This has not been my typical experience, but it was not an excellent one. Again, they are likely short staffed and are clearly under construction. It's a bad situation. But slow service is slow service and that's not the company standard.

After a long, fun, and exhausting day on the trails it was great to find them open till midnight. We ordered the 12 piece family meal. Hot, fresh, juicy, and crispy! So good, especially with red beans and rice.

Ordered online for pickup, I wanted it ready for when I arrived, an hour 15 mins after ordering, when I got there they did not have my order, the teen handling the orders told me without a receipt he couldn't pull the order, I showed him the receipt on my phone. He shrugged his shoulder said without a ticket he couldn't do anything. I asked for the manager, they were helpful, found the ticket, handed it to the teen to pull, he filled every will call order for Uber before mine, while I stood there waiting. Then he called my name when he pulled it, I was the only person there. Hope they provide more customer service training soon.

No delivery. Heck, t hey can hardly get their in store customers taken care of properly.
