Hiking l, fishing, cabins, views @10k’ perfection! Pancakes on Saturdays and Sundays. This is our meeting place one extended weekend every year! Group rates and friendly staff. I’d tell you that site 170 has the best corral for little ones.

Very nice and clean, it was easy to drive through, although I'm not too impressed by the area and around it. The sites are close together. We had to move our RV around to make the slide fit nice. Although it was nice to stay for a couple of nights.

The location and facilities are ok but the staff were no the same level of professionalism as most KOA’s and other campgrounds we’ve stayed at. Even the camp hosts at the National Forest campgrounds were far better. Also, there no early check-in and they out a sign in the door. When we got there early on a Thursday, our spot was already ready, and we went inside and saw 3 employees and they weren’t doing anything but talking about their gym membership. We mentioned the sign and said “Yes we have to clean it. You can wait on the side of the road about a mile down.” (FYI.. we drove past the site and there was nothing to clean). After we checked in at the right time they came by to mow our site! Also, there is no cell service there (we have AT&T) and the WiFi is very patchy. It took a a while to connect and once connected it, it was difficult to stay connected (you’d get dropped a lot). We asked one of the folks in the office about it and they just said “I don’t know”

Beautiful and CLEAN KOA. Cleanest KOA I’ve ever been to. Best views too. Yes, it’s a little tight if you have a bigger rig, but you’re on the side of a mountain! What do you expect? There was a great hiking trail to the top of a mountain behind our trailer too which was a great evening activity. The scramble up the talus field at the top kept it exciting!

Yes you can as long as you abide by the KOA rules. They slso have a dog park here.
Fire are allowed based on fire conditions in teller county. If you call the local fire department before coming they can give you heads up. The KOA does sell fire wood at there camp ground. I was a camp worker last year and am friends with the owners.
All of our cabins do have electricity, including 120 volt outlets. Only Deluxe Cabins have appliances.
Ok, thanks for letting us know.
Go to KOA website, put in date, and give in price. No monthly rates. RV sites vary from no hookups to full hookups with telephone. Well worth it. Beautiful setting at highest KOA in the world at 10K. Have fun. Or... Call Deric for rates.
Paid $45 a night. 1 room, 1 queen bed and a bunkbed no pets max of 4 people. Power spacer heater and ceiling fan
