Fire are allowed based on fire conditions in teller county. If you call the local fire department before coming they can give you heads up. The KOA does sell fire wood at there camp ground. I was a camp worker last year and am friends with the owners.

Yes, depending on current conditions and restrictions.

Teller county Emergency Management posts any active burn restrictions here: http www.co.teller.co.us/OEM/default.aspx. Sometimes propane fires are allowed when wood burning is not. The campground rents propane fire bowls as well as selling firewood.

I believe there were fire pits, but were pulled in July last year for fire season. FYI, it's freezing up there at night, even in July!!!
