There was a deer who came to our site in the morning! Only problem was this old guy was yelling at us for no reason! All we were doing was just looking at the deer!

The hosts are the nicest people, the bathrooms and campsites are always clean, and they have programs/shows for kids on Saturdays during the summer.

Camp hosts were FANTASTIC! Kind, friendly, inviting, and helpful. The campground itself was much quieter than I expected, even on Memorial Day Weekend - great acoustics.

Quiet and clean. We enjoyed this campground during what has to be one of the busiest camping weekends in the state: 4th of July. While every spot was full, we were pleasantly surprised that the campground remained quiet and free from raucous party goers. For RV campers, nearly every site requires some leveling. Some are a bit of a challenge to back into. The hosts were helpful and polite, the bathrooms were clean, and the guests were well behaved. Ponderosa pines were plentiful and made great hammock supports for many a camper. The undergrowth is sparse and the ground surface is largely dirt and pine needles. Overall, a very pleasant campground with excellent access to Manitou Park Lake.

NO fires are allowed. Only home bbq.
No charcoal grills allowed, fire ban allows fires in designated fire rings only, (which this campground has) firewood can be found around the area from fallen trees and dead branches being broke off to use(no live tree chopping) or you can buy firewood from the campsite or in woodland park, I would suggest woodland park tho as the same exact wood bundles are cheaper in woodland park then they are at the campground
We have a 26×8 ft with an awning of 12×9...Kodiak tent. We didnt stay here in this tent but it will accommodate this large of a tent. We stayed at site 3.
Is there drinkable water available to fill our trailer, and is there dump stations at the campgrounds?
I go to the RV campground down the road towards Woodland Park to dump. I'm sure there's one in town too.
Other than the sites with power, no reservations needed.
Fresh water on site, but you cannot connect a hose to it by law so be prepared with containers. No sewage dump on site.
I am sure there is, but I wouldn't know exactly where.
Yeah but ita not like 5 g or anything but can send messages and call people and i was able to scroll facebook but didnt try streaming anything lol
