With the fire ban in place right now, are the fire pits at the site still usable? I know the fire ban they put in place says covered fire pits but since I've never been here I have no clue.

NO fires are allowed. Only home bbq.

I'm trying to figure this out too as we're going this weekend... Statewide fire ban announced yesterday.

We stayed in Colorado Campground this past weekend Aug 13-16 and campfires were permitted in fire pits.

I was there around the beginning of the month and we were able to use the fire pit. 😊

More than likely not since it can't be turned off right away. We had to use a propane firepit when went as at the ti e there was still a fire ban
